About the Trip
Vietnam Trip for Republic Day 2027: Hanoi & Da Nang in 6 Days
Looking for a Vietnam trip for Republic Day that fits into a short holiday? This 6-day, 5-night Hanoi and Da Nang tour package combines northern Vietnam's bustling street life and scenic landscapes with the cultural charm of Hoi An and the mountain attractions of Ba Na Hills. Designed for travelers aged 18–38, this Vietnam group trip from India lets you explore several highlights without taking an extended break from work.
Begin in Hanoi, where the Old Quarter's narrow streets, local food stalls, Train Street, and Ta Hien Beer Street introduce you to the city's everyday energy. For your northern excursion, choose between Ninh Binh's limestone landscapes and scenic boat rides or a Ha Long Bay cruise featuring kayaking and cave exploration.
Next, fly to Da Nang to discover central Vietnam. Visit Marble Mountains, experience a traditional basket boat ride through Cam Thanh Coconut Forest, and explore Hoi An Ancient Town as its colorful lanterns illuminate the streets. The journey also includes a Ba Na Hills Golden Bridge tour, with a scenic cable car ride, the famous bridge, and time to explore the mountain attractions.
What Makes This Vietnam Group Trip Special?
- Two regions in one holiday: Experience Hanoi's street culture and northern landscapes alongside Da Nang, Hoi An, and the highlights of central Vietnam.
- A choice of northern excursions: Explore the countryside and limestone caves of Ninh Binh or cruise among the dramatic landscapes of Ha Long Bay.
- A Republic Day getaway: Spend January 26, 2027, exploring Hoi An with fellow travelers.
- A social group experience: Meet travelers aged 18–38 and enjoy organized sightseeing and transfers without having to plan every detail independently.
- Two ways to book: Choose the package with an Indian trip captain from Day 2 or the lower-priced option with local English-speaking guides on the day tours.
Who Is This Hanoi and Da Nang Tour Package For?
This trip suits young professionals, solo travelers, friends, and first-time visitors to Vietnam who want to explore the country within a limited number of leave days. It is particularly suitable for travelers looking for a planned group holiday with accommodation, selected excursions, and a domestic flight arranged in advance.
Expect an active itinerary rather than a slow-paced resort holiday. You'll change cities, take a domestic flight, and join several sightseeing excursions over six days, with some free time to explore independently.
What Is Vietnam Like in January?
January brings cooler weather to Hanoi and generally mild conditions in Da Nang and Hoi An, making it a good time for sightseeing, city walks, and exploring cultural attractions. However, temperatures and rainfall can vary between northern and central Vietnam.
- Hanoi: Daytime temperatures are often around 18–21°C, with cooler evenings, cloudy skies, and occasional drizzle. A warm layer is useful for exploring the Old Quarter.
- Da Nang and Hoi An: Temperatures are generally around 20–25°C, although rain is possible. Carry a light jacket and rain protection for outdoor sightseeing and evening walks.
- Ba Na Hills: The mountain setting can feel cooler and mistier than Da Nang, so an extra layer is useful for the cable car ride and Golden Bridge visit.
These are typical seasonal conditions, not a forecast for January 23–28, 2027. Pack comfortable walking shoes, a compact raincoat, and clothing you can layer to stay comfortable across both regions.
Which Travel Option Should You Choose?
Choose the with-guide package if you prefer the added support of an Indian trip captain from Day 2, alongside local English-speaking guides on the day tours. Choose the without-guide package if you are comfortable traveling without an Indian trip captain and prefer a lower package price. Local English-speaking guides are still included on the day tours, and this option operates with a minimum of eight guests.
For the Ninh Binh or Ha Long Bay excursion, the trip captain joins only if at least 12 guests choose the same option. Keep this condition in mind when selecting your preferred travel style.
What Should You Know Before Booking?
The package includes five nights of accommodation, a domestic flight from Hanoi to Da Nang, and sightseeing transfers specified in the itinerary. International flights, the Vietnam e-visa, travel insurance, and personal expenses are separate.
Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay are alternative excursions, so you will visit one rather than both. The trip ends in Da Nang after breakfast on Day 6, and the airport drop is not included. If you want to explore Ho Chi Minh City as well, you can arrange an optional extension independently at your own expense.
If you're looking for a 6-day Vietnam itinerary that combines local food, culture, scenic landscapes, and iconic attractions with a group of fellow travelers, this trip brings together northern and central Vietnam in one compact holiday.
