Day 0: Overnight Travel from Delhi to Rishikesh
Start your Himalayan adventure with an overnight ride from Delhi to Rishikesh, bonding with fellow travellers and road trip vibes.
- Depart from Delhi in the evening.
- Meet your travel group and settle in.
- Enjoy the overnight journey filled with conversations, music, and anticipation.
Day 1: Rishikesh to Govindghat – Sacred Confluences & Scenic Drives
Cross through the Panch Prayag and reach the foothills of the Valley of Flowers.
- Optional: Travellers can join at Rishikesh.
- Your journey begins from the yoga capital Rishikesh to Govindghat, nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas.
- Witness the 5 sacred river confluences: Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag, Vishnuprayag.
- Enjoy breakfast and lunch en route (meals not included) at roadside dhabas.
- Reach Govindghat by early evening and settle into your hotel/lodge/homestay, your base for the coming treks.
- Explore the small local market.
- Visit the Gurudwara Sahib at Govindghat, a place of calm and reverence.

Day 2: Govindghat to Ghangaria – Trek Into the Wild Himalayas
Embark on a scenic trek through the lush Bhyundar Valley to reach the high-altitude village of Ghangaria.
- Kick off the day with light stretching and breathing exercises. A quick, scenic 4 km drive brings you to Pulna, the actual start point of your trek.
- Begin your 10 km moderate trek along the lush and lively Bhyundar Valley.
- Stop at a beautiful spot in the Bhyundar Valley to enjoy your packed lunch amid Himalayan serenity.
- Reach the quaint high-altitude hamlet of Ghangaria, your base for exploring both the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib.
- Check in to your homestay/guesthouse/Swiss camp, freshen up, and soak in the mountain air.
- Walk down to the Valley of Flowers Information Centre for a short, insightful session on the valley’s rare flora, fauna, and history as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Warm up with a cozy dinner and rest well for tomorrow’s magical journey into the valley of blooms.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Ghangaria.
Day 3: Valley of Flowers – Walk Through a Living Postcard
Discover nature’s masterpiece as you walk through a valley bursting with Himalayan wildflowers.
- Trek 6 km to the Valley of Flowers (~11,811 ft).
- The trail gradually ascends, unveiling an explosion of color from brahmakamal and blue poppies to Himalayan bellflowers and orchids.
- Cross wooden bridges, gushing streams, and misty waterfalls that dot the valley like scattered pearls.
- Spend time exploring different sections of the valley. Don’t rush, this is a rare place where time should slow down.
- Enjoy a light packed meal inside the valley, soaking in the tranquility of the mountains and the subtle scent of wildflowers.
- Trek back to Ghangaria by late afternoon, reflecting on a day spent inside a living postcard.
- Freshen up and relax at your accommodation, your body will thank you!
Day 4: Hemkund Sahib – A Spiritual Trek to the Skies
Hike to the world’s highest Gurudwara nestled beside a glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
- Today, you climb to 14,203 ft, to the revered Hemkund Sahib, the highest Gurudwara in the world.
- Walk alongside the Laxman Ganga, witnessing beautiful waterfalls and stone paths cut into the mountain.
- Arrive at Hemkund Sahib, nestled beside a glacial lake reflecting the surrounding seven snow-capped peaks. Pay your respects at this 10th Sikh Shrine.
- Also, visit the Laxman Temple, a quiet spot of mythological and historical significance.
- Warm up with the simple, soul-nourishing langar served by sevadaars at the Gurudwara
- Sit by the Hemkund Lake, watching it ripple beneath the mountains. Feel the peace
- Descend back to Ghangaria.
- Overnight stay in Ghangaria.
Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat – Badrinath Darshan & Joshimath Stay
Descend from the hills, then take a spiritual detour to Badrinath before unwinding in Joshimath.
- Enjoy a hearty breakfast before you begin the journey downhill.
- Descend through familiar trails as you say goodbye to the majestic landscapes.
- Drive from Pulna to Govindghat (3 km)
- Uphill to Badrinath Temple, one of the most revered Char Dham.
- Visit the sacred temple nestled amidst snow-capped peaks and take a dip in Tapt Kund, the natural hot spring believed to cleanse the soul.
- Return to stay by late afternoon and check into your hotel.
- Visit the ancient Narsingh Temple, associated with Lord Vishnu’s incarnation.
- Overnight stay in Joshimath.
Day 6: Joshimath to Rishikesh – Farewell to the Mountains
Say goodbye to the Himalayas and carry home memories, peace, and new friendships.
- En route, pass by charming villages and perhaps stop for a quick chai with a view.
- 1st half of trip ends here as travellers who joined us in Rishikesh will be saying their goodbyes here.
- Head to Delhi from Rishikesh.
