Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Hanoi City Tour
- A warm welcome to Hanoi, the vibrant capital city of Vietnam! Our local tour guide will greet you upon arrival and transfer you to your hotel.
- In the afternoon, we'll start our tour at Ba Dinh Square - the heart of Hanoi where cultural and political events take place.
- Our first stop will be the Complex of Ho Chi Minh, where we'll see Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, his house-on-stilts, fishpond, and the One-Pillar Pagoda.
- Next, we'll visit the Temple of Literature, considered the first university in Vietnam.
- To get an overall view of the city, we'll take a 1-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter of Hanoi and the Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as the "Sword" Lake.
- We'll then wander through the narrow streets of the Old Quarter to experience the local life.
- After the tour, we'll transfer you back to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (B/L) – Sic Tour
- Wake up to a delicious breakfast at your hotel, and get ready for an exciting day ahead.
- Today we take you on a 90km drive south of Hanoi to the historic site of Ninh Binh, the ancient capital city of Vietnam.
- Get ready to be mesmerized by the stunning natural beauty of Tam Coc Caves, where limestone karsts jut out from the lush green paddy fields, creating a scene reminiscent of Guilin in China and Halong Bay in Vietnam. That's why this place is famously called the "Halong-bay-on-land."
- Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before we continue our adventure and visit Hoa Lu, the site of the former kings' palace in the 10th century.
- Marvel at the intricate wooden reliefs of the Dinh and Le temples that stand tall to this day.
- Our exploration of Ninh Binh concludes with a visit to Bich Dong Pagoda, a serene and peaceful place that will leave you in awe.
- As we head back to Hanoi, we'll make a quick stop to admire the beauty of Hoa Lu once again.
- Return to your hotel in Hanoi in the late afternoon, feeling enriched
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong – Overnight Cruise (B/L/D) – Shuttle Bus
- Wake up to a scrumptious breakfast at your hotel, followed by check-out procedures.
- At 9 am, we will begin our journey towards Halong Bay, located in the Gulf of Tonkin. Get ready to witness a Natural World Heritage site, designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006.
- Enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive that will take you through the beautiful Red River delta, with its lush green paddy fields and charming rural villages. You'll see hard-working farmers going about their daily farming routines, from ploughing buffaloes to planting seedlings.
- Upon arrival in Halong, check in to your overnight cruise to experience the breathtaking beauty of this "Descending-dragon" bay, formed by thousands of odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes.
- After a mouthwatering lunch on board, we'll take you on a tour of the Grottos, where you can swim, kayak, and approach islets to enjoy their beauty up close.
- Later, enjoy a cooking demonstration before dinner. Evening activities on the boat are available, or you can relax at your own leisure.
- Spend the night on the cruise, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise
Day 4: Halong – Hanoi (B/L) – Shuttle Bus
- Rise and shine early to witness the beauty of dawn on the sea. The Vietnamese call the East Sea the "Eastern Sea," and you'll be amazed to see the sunrise over the islets of the Bay.
- After breakfast, we'll continue our cruise through the magnificent areas of Halong Bay, where each islet has its own name, based on its shape or reminiscent features. You'll get to see famous landmarks like Sail Island, Fisherman's Head Rock, Butterfly Rock, and Turtle Islet, among others.
- As the cruise comes to an end, check out your room and enjoy a delicious brunch on board before heading back to the pier.
- Disembark from the cruise and we'll transfer you back to Hanoi, where you'll check in to your hotel.
- You'll have some free time to enjoy at your leisure before spending the night in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi Departure (B)
- Rise and shine with a scrumptious breakfast at our hotel.
- As your memorable journey with us comes to an end, it's time to check out and bid farewell to Hanoi.
- You are free until transfer to the airport (no guide) for the departure flight.
- We'll provide a comfortable transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
